All of our 19 momme weight (mm) silk is pure grade "A" 100% mulberry silk. This is the finest silk you will be able to find.
In this set you receive:
- One flat sheet
- One fitted sheet (elastic all the way around the base)
- Two pillowcases
19 momme weight silk is a heavy silk. It's very durable and yet it lays very light on your body. Just because it's like does not means it's cold. It will keep in at the perfect temperature all night long.
I highly recommend 19mm silk to every single customer.
We use the charmeuse weave (satin weave). This weave causes one side to be glossy on one side and matte on the other. When you dream of silk, this is what you are dreaming of.
There are seams on these 19mm silk sheets. The strong silk threads are woven on looms which are 140cm wide. To make one sheet that can cover our big mattresses, three panels will be sewn together. However, you will not feel these seams at all, plus they are hardly noticeable to your eye either. (But they are very strong).
