25 momme weight silk is our heaviest silk. Finding a silk or this momme weight used for bedding is very rare. It's the highest you can comfortably go. And of course, it's 100% pure grade "A" mulberry silk.
Here is what you receive in this set:
- One flat sheet
- One fitted sheet (elastic all the way around the base)
- Two pillowcases
25mm silk is a very heavy sheet and the difference in feel is easy to notice. It is a very luxurious sheet and contains a lot of silk by comparison. All of that silk packed into this fabric makes it not drape as perfectly as the 22 and especially teh 19mm silk can. Compared to the 19, it's a stiffer feeling sheet, but still very soft.
This does not make 25mm silk not luxury. It's more durable compared to the other weights and you can expect it to last a little longer because of that.
I typically only recommend the 25mm silk to people that live in a very cold climate. They are very warm and can even keep you perfectly warm in the far reaches of Canada.
These sheets have seams. Every seam in our sheets is very durable and they will not fall apart on you. You will also not notice any of these seems during your sleep, but you can see them.
