25 momme weight silk is our heaviest silk. This is a rare momme weight of silk to find and especially rare to find it for bedding. You would not want to go any higher in weight for bed sheets. It's 100% pure grade "A" mulberry silk.

The difference between 25mm silk and the other weights is very easy to feel and even see. There is an abundance of silk in this fabric and it's very luxurious. All of that silk packed into this fabric makes it not drape as perfectly as the 22 and especially teh 19mm silk can. It's a little more stiffer feeling in comparison.
This does not make 25mm silk not luxury. It's more durable as well and you can expect it to last longer.
If you're interested in 25mm silk, know that I only actively recommend it if you live in a place where the winters get very cold. It's a very warm sheet and I've had customers who live in way north Canada use is very successfully.
These sheets have seams. All of our seams are very durable and they will not fall apart. They are also not noticeable during your sleep although you can see them.
