It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year…
It’s that time again and I swear that each year the Holiday season comes earlier and earlier. Two days ago, I was in the post office and their Holiday decorations are already up.
It’s not even Halloween yet! (I wrote this yesterday… It’s Halloween Today!)
But when in Rome, do as the Romans do. So I have already started preparing the store for the Holiday season. Come Tuesday, maybe shortly after, you will notice some new things at TrueMores.com.
Here is what you need to know. I am open to suggestions so please feel free to pass on your thoughts, you know I love hearing from you.
1. December 9th 2011
This is really important! December 9th, 2011 is the last day you can order some silk and get it before the Christmas. It’s going to be pretty insane this year and I do not want a single upset customer or mistake made.
Remember, December 9th 2011 is the last day to order. If possible, please order as soon as you can. I am always here to talk with you and help you with any questions.
2. Holiday Sheet Sets
I want to experiment with some different color combinations that are focused on the Holiday season and the winter season. Here are a few that I am thinking about:
- Silky Ice: A navy blue flat sheet paired with either a silver fitted sheet or an ice blue fitted sheet. Then you have two pillowcases, one of each color. If you get a duvet cover, it would look best in the ice blue.
- Classic Christmas: This can go either way, but a claret (burgundy fitted sheet) with a sage green flat sheet. Then one pillowcase of each color as well. You can switch these around if you want as well.
- Holiday Dessert: A chocolate fitted sheet with a claret flat sheet and two ivory pillowcases. It would look amazing with a duvet cover that is ivory as well to simulate the icing.
- Happy New Year: A silver flat and fitted sheet with four pillowcases all different colors, bright colors to simulate a firework. You have a turquoise blue pillowcase, a yellow, orange, and purple pillowcase. If you want to add a duvet cover, that would be black to make the pillowcase colors pop.

3. The Pajamas
We are still slowly getting into the pajamas and we hope to grow some demand. Because we are still small at this point with the different styles, there are some changes that will be reflected on that site.
The long sleeve shirts are only going to be available in claret, ivory, and black. The black silk shirts will have white lace and the claret and ivory shirts will have black lace.
There will be limited number of these and pants can come with them so order early if you want them.
4. Share With Me Your Stories
TrueMores.com has grown more than I figured it would. We are still a small boutique run mainly by me alone and my wife when she can help me. Your success and love for our sheets means everything to me and our guys at the factory.
