Hi, I’m Dan and that is my wife, Kindal. Thank you for stopping buy TrueMores.com’s Lifestyle Blog. I hope you stay and become a regular reader.

I created TrueMores.com, officially opening the virtual doors in February, 2010… sometime during the middle of the month.

At first it was just an opportunity, but it very quickly became something that matched how we live our life.

Here’s the rundown:

I have to give a shout out to Philadelphia where I was born. I love that city and I’m thankful my parents still live there so I can always go visit.

I graduated from Clemson University with a BS in financial management. I was on the “fast track” to a career in banking. However, I knew I always wanted to build my own business.

The Internet always intrigued me, now more than ever. So in my off hours, I would think about potential businesses to start.

Kindal graduated with a BS in biology from Winthrop University. Looking back at her start, she was destined to become a personal trainer from the start.

Our first business, which still exists today is her training website The Art of Weight Lifting. It’s just for women.

While I love helping her, I wanted something of my own and that is when I started TrueMores.com. (The domain name is a very long story, I’ll have to share later.)

I met my great friend Steve Wong and his uncle in SuZhou China. They were willing to work with me to build this website and today we are not only great friends but great partners in business.

Silk is such a healthy fabric that it perfectly suited the healthy lifestyle my wife and I perpetuated.

Today I have plans on building an entire lifestyle company around TrueMores.com. Not everything will be silk related but based on luxury, health, and relaxation.

All things that I think mean a lot more as our lives these days become more and more busy.

A Quick Word About The TrueMores.com Blog:

The blog I wanted to make a little different from the store. I wanted to the blog to start to build that lifestyle brand.

That is why you’ll find many posts have nothing to do with silk or with the business side of things.

Again, life is so full of worry these days I wanted to help create a place where you can get tips to help life happier.

A quick side note: In high school I was recruited by a few art schools. Art has always been something I’ve done, which is why I think I enjoy design and interior design so much. Although I have zero formal training… that is why the podcast will be really helpful.

I hope that this blog accomplishes can help you with ideas, provide you with some fun, and be a place to escape every now and again.
