However, with these customized solutions come some issues and variations. The biggest issue that we face these days are variations in colors and what a certain color means to certain people.
First, the variations in color. We also strive to dye our silk the same color each time we have to dye our silk. Unfortunately, this doesn’t always happen and it causes a little confusion.
It’s really important to understand that the colors might be a little off if you buy one set and then a few months later you get another. This mainly happens with colors that are more difficult to mix and get exactly correct.
Second, what does a certain color mean to you. There are two really great examples of this and it’s something you should really look into.
Sage green silk sheets are a great example. Sage green to some people is a little lighter and more of a lime green. To other people it’s more of an olive green. Currently, our sage green is more of an olive green, meaning it’s a little darker.
Another good example is when we used to say azure blue silk sheets. Azure which is more of a turquoise blue would often get confused. Some people would think it would be much darker and be upset while other would think it would be lighter.
