There are many different functions that bedding has and you will be surprised to see all the different things that interior designers actually consider. It will really surprise you to know that just the bedding alone has over 12 different functions to fulfill. Here you will learn about only bedding and the different functions and features that it has when you or a real designer builds your room. In fact, these major considerations are what real interior designers consider on eat of their design jobs, and a lot more too.
The first thing is the actual design of the bedding itself and let's only look at three design considerations. First is whether or not it will serve as the focal point of the room. The focal point of most bedrooms is the bed and what dresses the bed up is the bedding that is on that, so it really is a big deal.
Next you look at how much warmth does the bedding provide. This is not by actual touch but how it looks because the bedroom should be the room that allows your to relax the most. So the bedding should look warm and inviting, begging you to relax and lay down.
Next is how well is the design of the room carried on by the bedding. You don't start designing a room unless you are building on a theme and the bedding plays a major role in building upon that theme.
Changing gears, another major factor about your bedding is function which is something you probably consider most when buying it. First you have the comfort from the filler or fabric. Bedding materials like silk sheets are very high end and then you have the vast amount of cottons. Each and every fabric has a feel and comfort level all it's own.
Next, temperature regulation is a huge factor that is always considered. This is the most important and if you want the best then you have to chose silk or bamboo sheets. It's all about staying warm in the winter and cool in the summer and the fabric that does that will also win out.
Third is dust and pest control. It's not pleasant to think about, but dust mites, molds, and more can grow in your sheets and really rage up your allergies and even asthma. The luxury bedding materials are the only way you can truly fight back at these organisms and the best two, again, are bamboo and silk.
