These days it's something that is always really important for everybody to do, pitch in a help our planet as much as possible. For one, we are trying our best to use sustainable materials that make it really easy to get more and not have to ruin the planet to do so. Using bamboo is a great example of this. Unlike a tree when you cut it down and it dies, bamboo can be cut down and grow back and it can grow back very quickly.
Harvesting a bamboo forrest and then having it grow back quickly is a really big deal for all it's uses. Bamboo is a tough fighter and another fabric that is similar is silk which can be produced very quickly as well, in most cases.
Because of bamboo's ability to grow so fast, it's being used for everything from clothing, pajamas, bamboo sheets, flooring, housing foundations, and so much more. It’s very versatile and I am sure that we will continue to find new ways of using it in our lives.
Recently, in the bedding industry, it has seen a gigantic boom in popularity and usefulness. Bamboo is such a great luxury bedding because it has incredible attributes that unique to by itself and only shared with silk.
Bamboo clothing on the other hand is very laid back, but makes for some incredibly workout clothes because of the unique properties that it has. The fashions are simple, relaxing, and something most women will truly love to wear around the house or just lazing about.
When it comes to other plants or materials that can be used like bamboo, you really only have silk. Silk is really best used for silk pajamas, silk sheets, and some silk clothing, but not much else because it is a lot harder to make and produce. Silk is very expensive to make and harder to produce and for some very obvious reasons, it can't be used for building materials or anything like wood.
So next time you are shopping for new clothes, new wooded floors, new bedding of whatever... take a look at bamboo because not only is a great fabric but it also has many benefits no other fabric can have.
